What is the difference between a fan heater and a heater?
The difference is as follows:
1. Different structures: The heating medium of the heater is generally resistance wire, and electric heating ceramics can also be used; the heater generally uses electric heating tubes and electric heating sheets as the main structure.
2. Different convection methods: The heater adopts forced convection (air circulation) by a fan, and its blowing is similar to that of a fan, and the temperature can be adjusted; the heater directly participates in air convection, but the disadvantage is that the temperature of the heating element is high, which is easy to cause fire.
Features of fan heater
1. The advantages of fan heater heating are:
(1) The single-unit heat supply is large, and the number of terminal equipment used is small under the same heat load;
(2) The small heater can be hung without occupying the building area, and the large heater is installed on the ground, and the floor area is also limited;
(3) Start heating up quickly.
2. The disadvantages of fan heater heating are:
(1) The fan is noisy when the heater is running. Generally, the noise of small heaters is about 60dB (A), and the noise of large heaters is even larger;
(2) The heaters are placed in the heating room to directly heat the indoor circulating air without supplementing fresh air (outdoor air), which cannot improve the indoor air quality.
